Here at OSP Warehouse we have been working hard to bring you a complete, all inclusive cam kit for LS engines! This is all equipment we use every day at OnSong Performance, you aren't just buying from any seller, we regularly use these parts to complete cam upgrades at our shop. This kit will work with any LS.
**BUY IT AS A KIT AND SAVE**
We have tried to cover all basis for these kits to include everything you will need for your specific application. From the base level kit for your enging you can then opt to upgrade to ARP hardware from the basic GM hardware that will otherwise be supplied. Although the new GM hardware is plenty adequate for the majority of people, if you plan on adding power down the road by means of Supercharger/Turbo or Nitrous then ARP is the way to go. The other advantage of upgrading to ARP is that the hardware is re-usable as it is not torque to yield, it is also much easier to work with for the average enthusiest, requiring a simple torque setting instead of angular torque like the GM hardware. Aside from what's included in the kit, we also recommend a CHE Trunnion Upgrade, oil pump upgrade (High Pressure and High Volume both available), Rear Main Plate (If removing engine to fit cam package), Heavy Duty Pushrods, all of which is also available in store (see other listings).
These kits include everything you need, gaskets and all. The idea was to put together a kit for those wanting to perform their own cam upgrade on their LS engine, assuming they plan to leave the engine in-car and remove the heads. If you plan on removing the engine to perform the cam upgrade, we strongly recommend adding in a new GM rear cover plate kit.
This kit is compiled of:

- VTKLS8 Valve Spring Kit (PAC Dual Springs, retainers, locks, seats/valve stem seals)
- New Single Row Timing Set (Double Row Upgrade Optional)
- New GM Cam Bolt Kit (ARP Upgrade Optional)
- New GM Cam Retainer Plate + Bolts
- New GM LS7 Lifters and Lifter Guides
- New GM MLS Headgaskets
- New GM Head BOLTS (ARP Upgrade Optional)
- New GM Harmonic Balancer Bolt (ARP Upgrade Optional)
- New GM Front Gasket Kit (Timing cover gasket, water pump gaskets, front main seal)
- New GM Sump Gasket
- New GM Valley Cover Gasket (DoD Engines will come with Delete Plugs which are inteded to be used with your existing DoD plate and gasket)
- New GM Exhaust Manifold Gaskets
- New GM Oil pickup O'Ring
- Crow Cam Billet Oil Pickup Brace
- GM LS2 Timing Wedge (Not required/uncluded for LS1 engines)
*Please Note, double row timing set upgrade may require modification/clearancing in order to fit*
From our experience, this is every required to perform this upgrade in car providing intake gaskets are in re-useable condition.
If you have found that you need to replace your intake gaskets, or rear main cover plate, please see our listings for these parts and add them to your order. We also recommend a CHE Trunnion Upgrade kit for high RPM applications and upgraded Heavy Duty Pushrods which are also available on our store in other listings.
